Grateful for Gratitude!

Gratitude is the act of showing thanks, and being truly grateful for things in your life. Showing daily appreciation, will give you a better outlook on life!

Thinking about the things that you are grateful for will help you live humbly, and improve your quality of life.

Here are some of the ways you can practice gratitude daily:

  1. Journal - list the things you are grateful for

  2. Random acts of kindness

  3. Express your love to the important people in your life!

  4. Be the reason someone smiles

  5. Try to replace a negative thought with a positive one. (Ie., this is too hard -> this is going to teach me something).

  6. Notice the beauty in nature/ things all around you.

  7. Connect with loved ones

  8. Be there for someone who needs it (including yourself!)

  9. Compliment often (including yourself!)

  10. Leave out the negative comments

  11. Avoid complaining - seek opportunities for change

  12. Try to embrace change/ discomfort

  13. Meditate with your thoughts

  14. Give thanks to people often

  15. Learn from your mistakes

  16. Share inspiration (someone else may need it)

  17. Be proud of your accomplishments (even the little ones!)

  18. Try to look for the bright side

  19. Live in the present (don’t dwell on the past, or worry about the future)

  20. Be kind!
